Auld Lang Syne
For all my old BSU friends, I've been meaning to get this digitized for years, but didn't have the means to get it from VHS to DVD until recently. Enjoy, and Happy New Year!

Is there a teleological suspension of the ethical? If not, how could I ever approach all things as if before God alone - challenging myself and challenging Him, not as a man who wishes to remain himself, but as a man who wishes to discover himself and God through fear and trembling.

I can't believe you actually watched the whole thing. I remember this chapel service being so cool and funny, but when I watched it again after all these years, I thought it was kinda boring.
Kinda makes me wonder if my memory of normal chapel services is a little rose-colored, too.
now it took a while to watch the whole thing with random pausing and buffering and whatnot. but i must say i was laughing quite a bit. i especially enjoyed joe's demonstration of his thespian talents. granted i remembered the mardi gras mission trip from which that segment was taken. so if someone wasn't there they may not laugh as hard as i did but it was still funny to take a walk down memory lane..
it was so good to see sara! :) thanks for the walk!
Wow! That was awesome! Is it weird that I watch that and all I can think is, "My college experience was so blessed!" We had the most amazing friend group ever! Thanks for posting. :)
Glad you guys liked it. This video is definitely from days gone by, but something about our BSU experience was unforgettable.
Sorry for the jittering, Stacy. The video I uploaded was around 99MB, so it's definitely big. The smaller ones I uploaded just didn't have the same punch because you couldn't really tell who the people were. The video works fine on my crappy DSL connection, though...
Those were some great times. It is funny to see my hubby way back then. We do own a copy of the wonderful chapel service but haven't watched it in a really long time. Thanks Ben!
Jody!
I wondered who else had a copy of this. It makes sense that Joe (as our family 'Dad') would have a copy. Definitely one of Joe's finer moments. Chest hair and all.
my computer must have been smokin' the wacky weed in honor of the 70's theme. worked fine today w/o pauses, etc. and yes i did watch the entire thing all the way through again. still laughing...
that was very funny. i'm so glad joe included me :)
Oh my, that is hilarious!!! We had the best family group ever! :)
You know, Mandy, we really did. In my other family groups, I was never really interested in what we were doing. But Joe and Amy's group was so much fun. I always looked forward to family group meetings.
